Eleven years after the original Acura NSX went out of production, the long-anticipated new NSX is finally ready.

A lot of engineering and technology has gone into this new $156,000 supercar to make it perform on the same level as cars like the Lamborghini Huracan, McLaren 570S, and Ferrari 488 GTB.

These are the seven different things that make the new NSX an amazing supercar in today's ever-growing high-performance car market.

It has the powertrain technology from a hypercar.

The NSX is a mid-engine supercar that uses a twin-turbocharged six-cylinder motor in combination with an electric motor and batteries to push power through a nine-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.

That basically means it has more power than any normal person would need, but it can put that power down to the road in a controlled, yet incredibly aggressive and forceful manner.

The electric motors are mounted in the front of the car and the power made from the motors get sent to the front wheels. The gasoline engine in the back powers the rear wheels.

Combined, the NSX is capable of going from zero to 60 in three seconds and has a top speed of 191 MPH.

It can take corners at crazy speeds.

Thanks to the electric motors in the front of the car, the NSX is able to divy up how much power is sent to each of the wheels.

Instead of understeering or oversteering through corners, the NSX is able to be confidently shuffled through corners with no issue.

It sounds like something from the future.
